Turbo, yes, for laggy, torque-steery nonsense. But not that.

It was an EFi so no lag or torque steer.

This is still for sale! They were originally asking the thick end of 100k for it last year...now asking 69k and I bet that's negotiable. Supposedly it cost 135k just 2k miles ago. Ouch.

They don't need many people to pay the first asking price for their cars to have a business model do they! I bet they are still making money at 60k on that.

The kind of client that goes to Bramley isn't overly concerned about the odd 10k of over-pricing here or there!

Nice colour. These were a good investment a few years back.

Only 4 were made in that colour combination, which makes it "one of a kind" apparently.

An XJ200, though. Yum.

I think they're referring to the mileage making it one of a kind although I'm sure most of them have a similarly low mileage.

The owner must live at the top of a very steep drive if he considers it needs a 5K brake upgrade after 1,900 miles!

I was never really a fan - too long for me but what a wonderful period in recent motoring history it came from with new supercars and other interesting cars being announced all the time.

XJ220 brakes were known to be atrocious so for many owners an upgrade was something that simply stopped the car.
Given how much of the XJ220 was from the parts bin it wouldn't surprise me of the brakes were lifted clean from a basic Metro.

I'm drawn to Audi RS3s at the moment, purely, I think, because of the engine.
There are quite a few low mileage recent ones on Autotrader

I'd have one in this colour
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/class...s&postcode=ky155un&page=5

Also, did Jaguar actually do an XF-R estate or have I imagined that - there are no petrol estates at all on Autotrader.

Found one on the Jag approved website

http://used.jaguar.co.uk/search#/details/2758600

Don't like the wheels.

That's an XFR-S. They didn't do a standard XFR estate, disappointingly.

Not doing an XFR estate always seemed a huge missed opportunity.

They must've taken that decision from BMW.
Was there not a 3 litre supercharged estate either?

As an aside for all you XF drivers, in case you'd like to know they're good in a crash - a work colleague tested his quite severely late last week and has been in the office all this week. Unlike the people he hit.....

The only petrol XF estate was the XFR-S. Sadly.
