An old aunt had a ginger guinea pig that turned psychotic and had to be turned loose to roam wild as it couldn't be handled.
In this case "roam wild" meant lurking under a shed in the garden where it could be observed hurtling out like a drunken Jimmy Wig and beating up passing cats.
It does now make me wonder what she had been feeding it on?
