As I spend a fair amount of time driving about, I've have a number of random observations about different cars. Here's two.

1. The new mini Clubman has offset badges due to the barn doors on the rear. It has CLUB on one door then MAN on the other, they really should have done better

2. The Golf R doesn't look good enough, it might be superb to drive but it looks like a Golf in Ghia spec with a big set of alloys.

Just my thoughts.

Is there any others I should look out for?

I don't think they've done too badly with the CLUBMAN name - the letter spacing minimises the lopsided effect - they couldn't have put the B over the join and I'm sure they considered having the name to the left, but I don't think that would have been as good.

It's the kind of problem I often get faced with when designing van livery.

No Golf looks good enough IMO - it's just a few feet of car.

The Clubman badge is easily fixed, make it less visible from space and put it to the bottom left/ right (and of course allow customers to delete it)

I don't really get Golf's either I'm afraid

What irks me about the Clubmunter is the brake lights being in the lower set of lights.

Nothing wrong with the Clubman badge, the car on the other hand... Maybe the height of the bus seats alter your perspective on reality. Pedestal vision, perhaps?

I do wonder why they have been placed in that position. It looks like the wiring department had an off day.

So that they are supposedly visible when the rear barn doors are open, I suspect (legislation again)

If you ever spot a silver Alfa Giulietta try to leave some burgundy paint on it

(One of my mates got hit in Edinburgh last year and his irritation was amusing)

Has anyone else seen the new Megane at night yet. If so you'll notice the rear tail light is ridiculously large and spread right across the entire rear panel with just a couple of inches break in the middle. I don't know who thought it needed to be so big!

I saw one a while back and thought how ridiculous it looked. I generally like the car though.

The back end of the Ford Edge has a thin light all the way across.

I like it but think it should be a continuous strip, like the Edge.
