There seems to be lots of places where rocks could roll down and wipe you out! I wonder if that happens very often? It sounds like the suspension is great, it has a slippy diff as standard, and is useable for big miles, not just a nutjob car for the odd blat (in which case you'd want something a lot more special than a FWD hatch, which is my issue with mega hatches). It's a big shame for me that the two drawbacks - steering and engine - are biggies for me!
