Yeah, right.
I received a letter from the marketing manager at Subaru telling me that they are going to contact me to arrange a test drive of the new Legacy. If I do so I may get a year's subscription to a magazine.
Smacks of desperation to me but I may as well.

You'd have to be desperate to buy a new Legacy, when the current model looks many times nicer and from how they describe the new model, drives a hell of a lot better, as well.
Subaru are the worst case of a car company owned by an industrial giant going. They just have no brand direction. _________________
