Howdy y'all. Well after a long wait, my Mito company car finally arrived last month.
I went a little bonkers and ordered the 18" wheels and red leather interior, but sod it, life's too short...
It's the 155bhp 1.4t engine, not the new multiair, but i got a damn good deal on it because its got the 'old' engine. Has all the latest suspension upgrades though.
Really impressed with it - handling is great fun, great engine, and decent mpg too. Plus i love the way it looks.
If it looks like its riding a little high, thats because that was just after it was delivered. Its got 1000 miles on it now and sits a fair bit lower. _________________ "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it"

I think that colour makes it look a bit bigger than it actually is. Very nice - would be suitable for me when I begin to teach people to drive! Enjoy. _________________

Nice - love the alloys, too. Darth (I think!) and I were quite taken with the Mito's we saw at Knockhil in the summer - black and red being my own two favourite colours. _________________ Just keepin' on keeping on. |

Nice in that spec/colour. The top piccie shows the best angle imho, got to say that they do not work for me most of the time. I do like the line along the top of the waing and through the body though, definitely makes the best of the proportions. _________________ Politicians. The 'other' car has had its body sorted, just waiting for some spare time to do the engine and other bits and bobs before I start assembling it... Hoping for a Summer 2010 reveal... :o)
Thanks for the MiTo comments, its a great little car. _________________ "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it"

That's my favourite colour combo on the MiTo.
I think it's a pity they don't do the teledial wheels in 18" though. |

Good choice Tim, this is our Mito only diference is the Standard wheels on ours and obviously the Colour. Whats the ride like on the 18"s ? I was tempted but thought the missus would ruin them within a week or her first parking maneuver. I have to say I'm delighted with ours. Its a superb car to be driven around in as I used to hate going in her MX-5 and the sense of occasion is great with the leather and far better then anything else for the money. Enjoy.

The ride is, erm.... busy? :o)
Not too bad though, i've had worse! I do love the interior, with the red leather its got a real quality feel to it.
The black paint on mine is amazing in sunlight, its almost red/burgundy in direct sun. Do like the grey though... _________________ "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it"

Scrumptious.
Love Etna black it's an incredible colour and those alloys look rather fine. Red leather is droolsome too.
Maybe they are saving the Teledials for the GTA, it seems some Alfa dealers are taking orders on them - despite it being cancelled/postponed! _________________ A Gentleman: Def: A male of the species who can play the Trombone.

Trust me when i say the GTA is still coming. ;o)
Its all a bit of a smokescreen - there will be a surprise unveiling next year.
Not quite as bonkers as the 240bhp carbon roofed concept, but will be (i think) c.210bhp. _________________ "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it"

I love everything about the MiTo appart from the those droopy lights on the front end. I walk the dog past one regularly and as I approach it from the rear it's all good, get side on - still good, walk past and then glance back.... oh dear. _________________ Keep Calm & Carry On. |

Ha. Just popped out of the office for a second, and the car cut out going along at 40mph. Engine, battery, electrics, everything.
Managed to wrestle it to the side of the road, and left it for 5 mins while i phoned Alfa Assist, and it started again fine.
Will be heading to the dealers tomorrow!!!

If it was German, that would be a non-breakdown, surely? |

Even though it's Italian it might have been a problem with German electrics - so that'll still be a non-breakdown.

I'm going to be the voice of dissent here:
3 spokes? In 2009? They were outdated in 1992!
Nice colour, though. _________________ Arms held out, in the Jesus Christ Pose. |

Like the rear, side and interior of the Mito

I've just noticed that they've put the wrong exhaust pipe on your Mito. You need them to change it to twin pipes for a 155. Its like having a black instead of a chrome grill on your 3 series. _________________

I actually asked the dealership if i could have a different exhaust trim on the back - after all that's all it is.
I prefer the classic oval to the twin pea shooters...
