|
The proposed 2010 schedule includes South Korea (October 17th) for the first time. Australia remains at the end of March to allow a late start. (If it were any earlier in the year, it could not be run late in the day because the clocks need to go back in Aus and forward in Europe.) Malaysia will start an hour earlier to allow for delays before darkness precludes further action. The British GP is back on its usual weekend in July.
March 14 - Bahrain (Sakhir)
March 28 - Australia (Melbourne)
April 4 - Malaysia (Sepang)
April 18 - China (Shanghai)
May 9 - Spain (Barcelona)
May 23 - Monaco (Monte Carlo)
May 30 - Turkey (Istanbul)
June 13 - Canada (Montreal)
June 27 - Europe (Valencia)
July 11 - Great Britain (Donington Park)
July 25 - Germany (Hockenheim)
August 1 - Hungary (Budapest)
August 29 - Belgium (Spa-Francorchamps)
September 12 - Italy (Monza)
September 26 - Singapore (Singapore)
October 3 - Japan (Suzuka)
October 17 - South Korea (Yeongam)
October 31 - Abu Dhabi (Yas Marina)
November 14 - Brazil (Interlagos)

Didn't realise S Korea was on for a race.
Wasn't India supposed to be joining this year? |

India's race is scheduled for 2011.
The late start idea is rubbish. Bound to be problematic. _________________ On the other side of the world - Hurlecot de Millou

Is that the one that they want to start in teh daylight and finish in the dark?
I seem to remember hearing something along those lines a while back. _________________ Mummy, Daddy, Sissy, Sassy Baby. |

I guess so. They're trying it out for the first practice session for the Singapore GP this weekend. _________________ On the other side of the world - Hurlecot de Millou

Not bad, at least the season is not starting at the end of March like this year - I get bored by that time! I don't mind Bahrain as a track either and it is great to see Montreal back. They filled the grandstands each year and the race was always excellent - no brainer.
It will be the first time since 2005 when the schedule has included 19 Grands Prix, the more the better. _________________

Good stuff, great to have Montreal back.
Now if we could just do away with all this Donington malarkey and keep the British GP where it belongs, all would be rosy
Talking of which, it's gone a bit quiet on the Donington front lately, no? _________________ "Racing is life. Everything before and after is just waiting." Steve McQueen |

Really? Wow - it's gonna be a difficult choice - either watch England win the World Cup, or Jensen win the British GP. (No jongoism in this house, you know) _________________

I've not heard anything about Donnington recently either, I do hope it stays with Silverstone.
Funnily enough I had a phone call today from the guy that took me to the GP in 2008 and then cocked up the tickets this year. I have an invite for the 2010 British GP, I just hope it's more like 2008 than 2009! _________________
