Gutting.
I'm still really unsure about getting a bike. I guess I'll have to get the wedding out of the way first. _________________ It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum....And I'm all out of gum. |

Somewhat.
I approached my line manager (New to the job..mind) and explained that I'll need to to take a few hours off and I'll make up, later in the week.
"Ok"...when is this?
"Dunno?"
"That's not good enough!"
"Well as they've yet to release the body and the family to arrrange the funeral....."I'm playing it all by ear"
"Was he a good mate"????
"Nip up to wages, and get my p45 if your that corncerned".
It's not as though I'm needed on days, as there's a host of guys that do the same job so the company won't be affected in any way.
I've certainly marked his cards. _________________ Minky Moo & Millie Maloo. |

I'm never so amazed at what some managers do. If any of my guys need to attend a funeral I don't hesitate. It's not like they're asking to attend one a week! _________________ Hurry, call me a Doctor......
