It's debateable, anyway, my definition of rocker excludes metal.
Did you know Axl Rose was Tommy 'The Nightmare' Smith from K-DST, the radio station from San Andreas?
That excuses his tight short antics (And anyway, wasn't that only at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert?)

He has always worn tight shorts. So tight you can see what religion he is.
I was aware of the fact he was Tommy Nightmare Smith. His Indiana hick drawl was unmistakeable.
By the way, only James Hetfield is a metal frontman. T'other 2 are 'rockers'.
