er... ok, Better late than never...

Panasonic GX7 with 12-35mm f2.8.

Expensive shoes and trousers, wet.

Heritage.

A simple shot but I like it more and more GX7 with Olympus 17mm f1.8.

100% from that last one...

There is much to lichen these photos.

Beautiful shot of the nuclear power station and industrial wasteland that is Teesside.

It's a shame you can't see the beauty around you Michael.

I'll be in the far east soon and believe me, Teesside is a place of outstanding beauty compared to some of the shit holes I'll pass in my air conditioned car and there are millions of people all over the world who'd simply love to live here and think themselves lucky to do so

Regardless of what's relative all you have to do is turn around and face any other direction and the industry is no longer in sight and you're left with just nature

Glad that the lens is so sharp; it's a hell of a price. I bought a used one a few weeks ago but haven't had the opportunity to use it in anger yet. I got a G7 in October and only had the cashback a couple of weeks ago; it's got the 12-35 on it at the moment but it's at the bottom of a camera bag.

Fear not alan, I can see plenty of beauty - one of the benefits of owning a house with views of two national parks. Not a nuclear reactor in site.

And you're right, some people would love to live in Middlesbrough. There lives must be awful.

Middlesbrough itself is a shit tip - I know, I go there most days. That said, efforts at improvement are underway. What can't be argued is the beautiful countryside and villages around it - and, of course, the Nuclear Power Station is in Hartlepool so you can't actually see it from 'Boro, or from anywhere around it

Your right, there are places that aren't Middlesbrough that are beautiful. That Power station is quite visible from plenty of points around Middlesbrough including alan's picture.

Hope you're getting on well with it, I had a G7 and it was the most responsive camera I've ever had.

For out and out sharpness you need a larger format and a nice lens. The A7 with a Zeiss lens can cut your eye balls :D

One of the good things is that the coast and the countryside are just minutes away and are in places stunningly beautiful.

Michael, ever thought about saying something nice? Just a thought.

And just for you here's some soothing and or pretty pictures taken in the Boro area...

And for the nerds these were taken with a Sony A7 and a film era Minolta 50mm f1.2.

These were taken anything from 100yards to 20minutes drive from home...

Excellent photos, especially I liked two of them - the first is a black and white photo of houses and the second is a color photo of tablets.
If you will allow me, I would like to give you some advice.

1) Try to read some information about the white balance, it will help you to make a colorful accent on certain objects of your photography. Https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_balance
2) As I understand you prefer to use one lens for both near frames and distant ones, think about purchasing one more or a pair of lenses, for example, a portrait and macro lens. Information and examples of macro lenses (https://www.bestadvisers.co.uk/macro-lenses-for-nikon), about portraits, I think, and so everything is clear.
3) Try next time to play with the exposure, it will help to give the pictures depth. The next link to the wiki)) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exposure_(photography)

I hope my information will be useful to you. You're a big lad!

P.S. The photo "Back to the seaside", I, if you decide, hang on my wall, it is perfect.
