^^^^

I quite enjoyed Terry Grant's show at Knockhill - maybe I'm easy to please.

Still made for a great photo opportunity.

It's the one that I was interested in buying about 2 and a half years ago but I 'passed it on' to a mate.
It's one of the phase 2 versions with the sportskit and black wheels.

We think it may also have been lowered which would've contributed to my mate ripping the sump out of it after he had it 3 weeks. Fortunately it did no internal damage and a replacement sump was all that was needed.

Although my partner Amanda says she wouldn't be seen dead in one....

So hard to choose what to submit for consideration, so here's a varied selection:

I decide to concentrate on photos in landscape format.......... if we decide that we want portrait format, then I would enter some different pics!

Of my own car(s):

From the rental cars:

Others:

Rather a lot, I know......... and that was just a small subset of those I could have entered!

Nice pics, Colin. All the same, there are several rental models there with which I'm sure we'd prefer not to sully the proposed calendar.

Just what I was thinking - a shame some of the most interesting scenery was visited in the least desirable cars. I like the Alfa GT ones though.

I don't want to be the one to piss on anyone's chips (metaphorically and photographically speaking) but this thread would be a lot easier to look at if people could stick to a maximum of, say 5 shots each.

I have literally hundreds of shots I could post but I decided to just put in a few favourites.

This thread now takes forever to load and it is really hard to go through all the shots to make any kind of decision on I like best.

We should have one decision for Colin's pics, and one for the rest.

My choice of Colin's would be the white awful monstrosity on the beach.... because I like the setting. Now, if it were a decent car, it'd be the cover shot!

People should feel free to post whatever pictures they like. I'm putting them into a thumbnail sheet which ought to make the selection process a bit more straight forward. There are some excellent pictures in there already so keep them coming. Fortunately this week has generated a wealth of BMW Compact related imagery which will no doubt be a popular choice.

I was going to answer Michael's last post with a cutting and ammusing remark (or at least it was to me) but it's bad forum form to slag another member's car choice....

It's akin to suggesting that someone's manhood was less than average size.

While I realise that almost all the pictures have cars, I realise that I do have some nice pictures of no cars. If that's okay I wouldn't mind contributing, seeing that the two pictures I've submitted so far has been taken out of the running.
