Not a particularly happy video but the mother who released this was very brave to do so. It's a poignant reminder of the dangers of speed and the importance of looking out for bikers when turning. In this instance I suspect the Clio driver thought he could nip across the road not expecting the biker to be closing in at almost 100mph.

Some of those make you realise just how vulnerable you can be in a car. However it also shows that the Chinese & Russians are bloody awful drivers and generally don't give a f*ck if someone gets hurt - just get out of there!

The Isle of Man isn't just about bikes.

this shows the insanity of Kart Road Racing, through residential streets and harbourside roads in Peel Isle of Man.

That is just a bit too dangerous for me these days although there were times I would have jumped at a chance to do it. When the video finished I watched the one of Mark Higgins on the IOM rally in a Nova. Holly shit does that get the adrenalin going!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDiNBy9w8_E

Remember the A380 that had an engine failure near Singapore?
I know afterwards it was revealed that there was "some additional damage" but even so, the pilots certainly earned their money that day:

If you look at the more recent videos it has changed a lot (look at the Superform example) but still lots of traditional craftsmanship remains (English wheel). This, for me, is much of the appeal of owning a Morgan car and was part of the appeal of owning my Royce.

It bugs me to an irrational degree when ads use 'ever' when they mean 'yet'.  But yes, 4k feels like an attempt to get people buying new TVs now that 3d has failed.

But there's no source material, and when there is the price will have fallen through the floor. And the processing will have come on in leaps and bounds.  I saw the 4k version of my TV and other than adding £2k to the price, I saw no benefit whatsoever.  In fact, it seemed to have a little difficulty with movement in comparison, though as the source, cabling etc were different, it would be unscientific to second guess where this issue came from.
