Not the best picture but you may notice the additional Citroen badges and myriad of other badges all taken from other Citroens.

Ultra-rare Passat 2.0TDi 4R32.  I must have missed that one.

This must be a really rare conversion of a Fiesta van to AWD .

Behold, an M3 Touring in Coventry. With wonky exhausts, crap wheels, horrendously stretched tyres, blackened windows and a knackered rear wiper.
Sorry for the hurried poor quality shit. I didn't want anyone to think I thought it was actually any good.

I saw a Jagur S Type Vanden Plas last week and an XFR Sport (very dodgy sport badge) on what must have been a 2.7D Luxury.

The ad behind it takes on a whole new meaning, don't you think?  (Edit - I don't think the previous gen M3 was available then, was it?  Autocar's RS4 vs M3 piece was July 07 and featured a non-UK car, so I reckon 07 would be the earliest plate available.)

A Mondeo the other day with a V6 badge added below the number plate.  And as luck would have it, we both got caught at the next set of lights...

The Kangoo and Kubistar were both the same - maybe one is a door from a scrapyard. as that is registered as a Nissan.

Spotted an M318d at the beach at St Andrews at the weekend.
Since I was in the M5 it would've been rude not to park next to a 'brother' M car.
When we came back from our walk the guy in the M4 had clearly been thinking the same

I know what you mean.  There's a guy in a B7 A4 I see every now and again.  It's an RS4.  Silver mirrors, RS4 badging, special 'slim hips' version too, with more discreet exhausts.  I keep wishing I was in the car when I see him, so I could tip a fellow owner the wink.

VW Tiguan with an R badge on the front grille.
Thought it might be possible but a check at the back showed it to be a 2.0TDI

To be fair to VW buyers R design models do have an R badge on the grill. It may well have been OE.

R line is indeed a trim level in a similar vein to Audis S Line.

I didn't know that but it makes sense to blur the line between your sporty 'brand' and more down to earth ones - see BMW M and AMG....

Loads of bloody VW camper vans.  One of which, as well as the ubiquitous pimping, had Audi's four rings across its nose.

I saw a debadged Merc E Class coupe thing.
4 large exhaust pipes perfectly complemented by a rattly diesel engine sound.
At least they hadn't bothered with AMG badges.

Also practically every new BMW I see now has M badges on the side.
I know that's because they're the M Sport package but really it makes me want to go and take the badges off my M5.

It's no wonder the current 'proper' M cars have such OTT styling and bulging arches as that's practically the only way to identify them from any angle other than the rear.

I saw what appeared to be a lovely Alpina the other day, very authentic, only to find as I passed it that it was still sporting it's original BMW badges.

I saw a previous shape C22 AMG this morning.  They'd replaced the cdi badge with the AMG one and just removed the 2 on the left hand side then fitted it with 4 tailpipes but at least 2 looked like trims attached to the bumper.

Just seen a white M135i...except it wasn't. M135i front bumper with the blades and no fog lights, M135i wheels....but badly misaligned non-OEM tail pipes and tiny brake discs. Honestly, why not just buy a 13-plate M135i in the first place? All that expense tarting up a four-pot 1-Series - tragic.

Its a bit like people who go to great expense to dress up a Golf 1.4 TDI into a Golf R lookalike. Just don't bother and save up for the real thing.

It's an odd one. GT3 etc I (kind of) get but 50th badge? And on a 964??! At least put a 30th badge on to make it mathematically correct...

He's not really bigging it up by pretending it's a Type R or owt, but there's a bloke at work with an Accord who has festooned the poor thing with Honda badges. I've not looked inside, as the outside is bad enough, but I reckon it must say HONDA or H on the outer around 30 times. Tis rather comical, I must try and get a photy of it!

Here she is!

Not the best pic, but it has the front and rear H badges, plus the four on the wheels, then there are another three on the rear number plate surround, five on the rear window, a sun visor strip on the windscreen, four wind deflectors with badges on, more on the side windows themselves, badges on the side skirts, an extra one on the front grille, a Mugen badge on the boot and two more on the rear spoiler. I think that's all, but I'm not inclined to take a closer look. Poor car!

A black M5 X5 just now, with a 3.0d engine if the sill badges are to be believed.

Interestingly, there was an 'M' badge on the front grille too, thusly;

W///

Make of that what you may.
