Winchester Cathedral through an 8mm fisheye lens; once a year they remove all the seats from the Nave so you can see how it used to be.... which makes me wonder, in medieval times, what did people sit on (other than their own backsides), or did they stand during services?

Incidentally for those that know it, the crypt was shut due to flooding; it's above the level of the viewing gallery and must be almost up to the waist of the Gormley statue

I love flower shots, all taken with my cheap second hand G1 and a cheap lens.

I've been tidying up some old files today and came across a folder full of old photos.

Found a couple I thought I would never see again.

I loved the Beetle, even though it wasn't a great car.  I would have another in a heartbeat.

The Corsa was a revelation after the Beetle.  A rear demister, windscreen that didn't steam up and a heater that worked.  I rolled it when it was a couple of years old.

Thanks!  I must give the credit to Lindsay, as she took it and edited it slightly to go on Instagram.  I don't suppose he quality is bad considering she used my iPhone 4S through a plane window.

We were up at the caravan this weekend, and took a wee trip to Lunan Bay beach yesterday to give the dogs a run. (Damn near killed 'em actually, but that's another story!)

Anyway, walking in the dunes later and caught this bee doing its' job.

some recent ones from me
Taken on my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone
with a tiny tidy up manipulation but I think you'll agree that aren't too shabby. I'm very seriously thinking of making photography more than just a hobby, got Julie's blessing.

A Clematis on the trellising in my back garden. Saw the shot and enhanced the blue of the sky and tidied up the contrast so the flower looks sheer. One of my favourites

A double rainbow over the houses, taken from our bedroom window last week

A bumble bee on the flower of a bush in my garden

sun setting and dusk, the last rays of sun for another day, with an aeroplane flying south

The River Windrush at Bourton On The Water One of my favourite pics

Sun setting over the houses, from my back garden

A swan posing for me, taken at Draycote Water nr. Rugby

heavy ominous storm clouds over the house

Spotted this on the way home from our caravan today. A 'stuffed' motorcyclist, artfully arranged on a bike in a small village named Luncarty, in Perthshire.

No idea about the reason for it, or any story that may be associated with it. If I find out, I shall let you know!
