There's enough for me to read over the space of an evening so I normally buy it when I'm staying away. The few bits I read feel much better value when it's bought on expenses

The evo staffers do seem to fancy themselves as up there with the race car tester.  I know they've been using over-rotate for wheelspin for a while, and see in this month's evo that Prosser can't get the tyres to the GT-R to switch on, a phrase I've never heard used outside of F1.  You mean they don't work well on a slippery surface...

There's a cracker in this week's Autocar, ostensibly about this guy's 430D (M Sport), which oh so subtly segues into his Porsche etc.  I won't reproduce it here, as it's prompted a change of car nickname on my part...

I see the piece in this month's evo on the revised Aventador is written by Steve Sutcliffe.  Must have got bored.

I was going to comment on the remark in the text about Lamborghini finally understanding the concept of driving - have the cars been rubbish to now? Why weren't we told?

There are a couple of 'look at me' letters in the newest CAR mag.
One from a Ferrari 430 owner and one who raves about the Mini and just has to mention his BMW 335 estate

Nothing in Evo though, it's now the first thing I look for!

I saw that Tim, and was expecting it to be from some whipper-snapper like Prosser.  But the piece is far more measured, and concentrates what criticism there is on the original Aventador.  New one is proper kids poster stuff.

Doesn't just have to be your car:

'Why do alternative fuel cars have to look so weird?  Your Toyota Mirai looks like the bastard child of a Jaguar XJ and my Smeg fridge.

Why not 'a' Smeg fridge, one wonders...

He's such a cool guy with his fridge choice...

And not afraid to pay through the nose for an appliance that adds to the exclusive ambience of his kitchen.

Or something.

Really enjoyed Steve Sutcliffe's piece on the Aventador in Evo, I've missed his writing.

Has Darren Cox stopped writing for Evo? Good riddance....

Annoyingly I saw it was him before I read it which meant I did it in his annoying voice. Still a good read though.
