I remember this one from a while ago, published in our local paper. I've just Googled it and found the story. I couldn't help  but laughing out loud

Why this is newsworthy or anyone would give a stuff about this is beyond me, but it's made someone's day I bet

"We go the extra mile" perhaps he should have stuck to that mantra and not taken a short cut under a low bridge.

Oops - I bet that won't be easy to put right!

I have some sympathy for whoever did it - in my early signwrighting days when it was done with a brush and a pot of paint, it was all too easy to be concentrating on the letter rather than the word.

Brilliant. Simply brilliant. I suppose he knew from their faces that they were Kings and Queens followed by Princess and Princesses in some future love paradise?

I noticed one father described the DVD as absolute filth. I imagine he left out the bit about taking it away and hiding it in his bedside table for safekeeping.

I once had a load of porn arrive unsolicited in a brown paper envelope. I opened it and Lindsey was somewhat curious as to what I had been doing on the Internet. I wasn't sure she believed me when I protested my innocence but luckily, a couple of days later there was an article in the local paper about it. Apparently some Dutch porn production company had illegally obtained a mailing list and sent the stuff out unsolicited.

Hippo jumps from moving truck in Taiwan, startling locals

"Local media said the hippo was a star attraction at its farm and had even appeared in a popular television soap opera several years ago."
Hmmm, Taiwanese TV must be a little weird

You hear about this sort of thing all the time. You can't avoid it if you want your car properly serviced but a dash cam could come in handy if you think your car gets abused.

Flag collector apologises after flying Nazi swastika outside his house 'by mistake'
Martin Baker, 54, apologises after flying the red and black Waffen SS flag on a 20ft white pole at the front of his house

I know that Doncaster might be a bit of a backwater, but I seriously doubt that anybody doesn't know the significance of a swastika flag. The man must be thicker than two short planks.

Nope - has to be collected in tanks then emptied into a proper waste disposal tanker when the plane is on the ground.  "Dumping it" overboard is only if there is an emergency

She now says that "she considers herself to be black".

I consider myself to be witty, charming, debonair, handsome and irresistable to women. But that's doesn't mean I am.
