I saw an A5 earlier with F19 FAT. Is the owner a larger person and proud of it or do they run a business rendering fat from figs? Guess I'll never know.

I was let into a junction by a Vectra on Friday with the plate:

HE52 FAT, spaced to say HE5 2 FAT.

He was a big lad as well.

Someone I used to know got a plate X66 MOS, the letters being his nickname from school, which he tried to get us to call him from then on.  I suggested we call him X66 instead.

A183ERT on an elderly, somewhat neglected Corsa
doesn't quite spell Albert, however I wonder if this was just an ordinary plate that slipped through the net or if the owner/driver knew of its near-gittishness

It has no significance. "Up the Boro" is a bit like the Stark's oft repeated greeting in Game of Thrones; "Winter is Coming". You can be standing at a taxi rank in Norway and you'll get some Teessider come up to you and the first words will be "Up the Boro".

He walked onto the Gazprom stand in Stavanger where they had some absolutely gorgeous models as greeters and his opening chat up line, no word of a lie, was "Up the Boro?".
She looked at me helplessly but all I could do was smile apologetically and lead him away with him still muttering "I had a chance there".

The Great Man lives, just seen ELV1S on a white BMW 3 or 4 series 5 door hatch thing.

I would've thought he'd try to keep a low profile all these years after his death but maybe central Dundee counts as that?

It had gittish, foreign looking, plates too.

Plenty of git plates in HK, best/worst so far is a current shape full fat Range Rover with the registration RANGER.

I did like the plate on an A45, 'M L', which would suit us nicely.

J19KE D

doesn't quite look like JAKE D, even with a specially-shaped 9 that was too close to the 1 for comfort
