If a certain team are losing...20 minutes of extra time?

Ryan Giggs to fall over, give the ball away and blast every shot into orbit.

And the Southern show ponies win 1-0.

I'm with Franki - us Man U fans stick together through such adversity.

EDIT - and before anyone asks I was born in Urmston.

Doesn't matter. The papers will be all about:

1: Liverpool losing again
2: Benitez getting the sack
3: Torres being injured
4: Ferguson complaining about another referee
5: John Terry saying something about Chelsea
6: Mark Lawerenson getting more predictions wrong
7: Newcastle

For the record, Chelsea to win, 2-0, both by the Drog.

What sort of fan are you?! Being a Gooner it's perfectly acceptable to accept the worst, knowing we'll get at least 20 shots on goal, but whether we'll get any in is another matter!

I'm going to go for either a 1-1 draw or either team winning 2-0 because both teams are absolutely brilliant on their day and could get a flatteringly easy win, but both teams have shown significant flaws in the last few weeks, Chelsea when it comes to defending set pieces and United defending full stop.

Going to be a cracker either way. I'm hoping for a draw with us spanking Wolves.

I always remember the old story about journalism, that "dog bites man" is not a headline, whereas "man bites dog" is. "Ferguson unhappy with referee" surely fits in the first category.

I am usually philosophical about these things.I do believe that over a season ref decisions will balance out,but that was hard to take ,felt properly cheated.
Took great satisfaction in the performance as we totally dominated them, the only weak display was from giggs who has been utterly outstanding this season, but we completely bossed them.
I would rather have been outplayed and lost 3-0 .

Well this is the problem with Ferguson talking shit about the ref all the time - when United are the victim of an unfair decision, everyone who's not a fan has no sympathy whatsoever.

true, but all the managers moan..its just fergy who getst he headlines because he sells papers,as they said on sunday supplement he is a journalists wet dream.

Goes to show you though without 3 key players United bossed a team who had been steamrolling most other opponents.I can't wait for chelsea to come to OT.

I thought it was a pretty even game, and a draw should have been the right result.

Other than the last 15 minutes or so when things boiled over, it wasn't a classic match by any means.

??? you need to change your glasses ben.Agreed it wasn't a classic match, but UNited totally dominated play. They paid the price for poor finishing and bad 'reffing' but even the chelski fans admit they were very lucky .

United were the better team in the first half, but Chelsea did peg them back a bit in the second half. United should have gotten at least one goal, so you're right about the poor finishing.
