WoopsPut the X11 away, post-commute, Friday night before last. As a special treat to myself and the Blackbird, I used it Monday and Tuesday. Love that bike and it does it no good to not get used.
Tried swapping back to the X11 Wednesday, but couldn't get it to start. Turned over strongly, but just wouldn't fire.
Had to wait until today to have my local mobile mechanic come and have a look. After about 30 minutes he said 'Have you changed the key recently?' You know what? I have. I lost a key and had another cut, then tried to use the new one.
Turns out the HISS (Honda Integrated Security System) requires any new key to be programmed to fit the bike.
£95 please, sir. Arse.
Looking forward to tomorrow's commute now.

Alfa Romeo Sicurezza Elettronica. Somehow appropriate to one or two of the owners I've experienced.
