Not unless you have some good lenses to go with it.
Can you get into the "ordinary" spectator areas with that, or will they deem you a possible professional 'tog and keep you or the photographic gear out?

I've also just upgraded in the last few days:

D40  to D5200.

6mp v 24mp

Flip out screen

HD video

2.5fps v 5fps

3 focus points v 39 !

1600 v 6400 ISO

It's a great camera and I can't wait to give it a proper go at Stanford Hall next week!

I've got a 5100. I really like it but don't get to use it enough.

Have you got any other lenses ?  I can't wait to hook it up to my 300mm!

I've only got the two. 18-55 and 55-300 both VR. I think they most bases though.

I've got the same. Love the 300.

There's a camera shop up the road that has 30-50% off all lenses, but I don't use my camera often enough to warrant the expense. They have a wonderful looking Canon 100-400 in the window...

I only have L series lenses

I was almost banned from taking my kit into a Slovak ice hockey match as they thought I was not just an amateur. Then I pointed out I was merely English with too much money and they laughed.

Judging from my pass through of photos from yesterday this new body is the best thing since sliced bread!
