Vinyl pictures - RDQ

Last year I got a pack of vinyl display cases. This year I put them on the wall

So you should have guessed the question already: Which three covers would you have chosen as your first three?
gonnabuildabuggy

Already working on it.

working for yourself means that you can decorate it how you like (though the girls in the office might disagree with my taste).

A few years ago I bought some 1960's American Car prints and had them mounted so I've got 5 of them on my walls too

Trying to justify buying this at present.

Pretty easy this:

Twelfth Monkey

Pixies - Doolittle.
Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars,
Velvet Underground - VU & Nico.
Big Blue

I've got Love Will Tear us Apart poster framed in the living room.
Blarno

I can't choose 3, it's just not fair. But, today, I will go with:

ZZ Top - Eliminator
Metallica - Master Of Puppets
Monster Magnet - Powertrip

And a nod to Prince?

^ More likely Deep Purple, judging by the colour theme

That's the LED lighting around a ceiling feature. I can make the walls any colour you like.

why do you think I said Prince Chris?!
Stuntman

I might go for a space theme:

Afterburner by ZZ Top
Boston by Boston
Escape by Journey
Blarno

And for the next three:

Pantera - Vulgar Display Of Power.
Faith No More - Angel Dust.
Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger.

A very hard RDQ! I love the Eliminator suggestion above and the Tin Drum album in the photo. I reckon I'd go down a similar 80's theme, as that's my era. I'd probably go with Japan, too, but Quiet Life or Gentlemen Take Polaroids instead of Tin Drum, the aforementioned Eliminator and maybe Kings Of The Wild Frontier...

If the allowed selections were only albums I already own then I'd have to double check what I have still on vinyl.

Sorry but I have never had much interest in pop music so I never really knew who "Prince" was

Are you taking the piss? That's like saying "I wasn't around when World War II  was going on so I have never heard of this Adolf Hitler bloke"!
Big Blue

Just PML at that exchange between Chris, Simon and Phil.

I asked someone else what they would have and they suggested these:

Are these any good, I've never heard of any of them?

I've heard that Elvis fella is going to be huge. Very popular on the hit parade.

It was on the (German) news this morning that vinyl sales outstripped download sales in the UK last month.

I've heard of that Hitler bloke but didn't realise he made the charts over here.
Did he inspire Billl Hailey (or whoever did "The Jitterbug") with "The Doodlebug" ?

Those blasted hipsters again.

With your knowledge of popular culture, Chris, have you ever thought of becoming a High Court judge?
