Twatverts

See evo, page154. Why would an engineering company assume that the best face for their product was an ex-boy Bander? And my, isn't he trying hard to look as though he didn't make his 'name' singing shit songs for little girls.

There's a similar Lewis Hamilton one doing the rounds (it might be for oil) where he's doing his best to look moody and scowling. He just looks like an arse to me...
Big Blue

Yeah most adverts that feature people that aren't just in adverts tend to be complete shite. Joe Hart Head and Shoulders, that pizza hut advert after Italia 90, anything with Hamilton in it....

There's an episode of Hancock's Half Hour called The Impersonator based on his loss of reputation after a voice over. If you're famous for driving round in circles and blowing up that's what you're famous for.

That advert is both hysterical and cringe worthy in equal measures. I can't decide if they are being serious or sending him up.

It's definitely hm though, he's signed the page!
Twelfth Monkey

Probably with a rubber stamp...
Grampa

I don't get Evo - who are we talking about?

We had the Jenson Button Head & Shoulders limited edition a few years back.
You'd have thought that for motorsport enthusiasts, they might have taken the trouble to make a
Patrick Head & Shoulders edition

(I'll get my coat)

The dampers company that used to use Sabine Schmitz.  They now use a foolist called Shane who used to be in Boyzone.

Aaah, I hadn't seen it either.  Isn't Shane thingy a bit handy at the wheel though, I've got a feeling he races competitively?
Giant

I saw him dicking about in a slammed RR Corniche on some channel 5 programme the other week. The same programme was giving away a billy basic MG3 as a prize!

A drifter according to the advert! Also vague memory of British touring cars.
Twelfth Monkey

But look at his scowly face and myriad tats.  He's a proper hard man now and no mistake...

Where's his dignity and pride ? Mind you , if someone said here's a suitcase full of cash for a couple of minutes work - i'd be in  like a shot!

Does he want to sell you a coilover spring or test you over the head with one?

Anyway, I won't be buying one, no matter what.
Blarno

He's a drifter.

Automotive ballet, basically.

The big Irish ponce.

Twelfth Monkey

Though ballet is not for me, I think the degree of fitness, skill and discipline are a world away from twatting about in a car!  Or a band for little girls...
Twelfth Monkey

Here's da ham, from his Hellfrauds ad, looking like a cock:

Blarno

Is he slowly morphing into Puff Daddy? Or P Diddy? Or Doddy? Or whatever he's calling himself this week.
Chris M Wanted a V-10

There's a great Petronas ad in today's Autocar magazine,
Photo of Da Ham and
"Petronas Syntium... fights excessive engine heat"

They forgot to include the words "and loses"
Blarno

Funny, I thought coolant was to fight excess engine heat.
Twelfth Monkey

For some reason, the PETRONAS logo in the pic has always made me think of a stubby little Stanley knife.
