Top Gear special F1 season preview.Anyone else seen this? I got it the other day as I fancied some light hearted reading and wasn't expecting much, but it's actually surprisingly good. The details of the teams and drivers are probably not as in depth as some more specialist titles but each has been scrutinised by Eddie Jordan and Martin Brundle who give quite good opinions and each circuit is reviewed by David Coulthard who at least has some pretty recent experience of what they're like.
There's plenty of other good articles and it's generally good reading (don't expect anorak levels of detail though) and they've let slip that Lewis will be back in the Liana some time in 2009 to have another go at the Stigs lap record. I know this magazine doesn't have its biggest fan base round these parts but it's worth checking out next time your in WHSmith whilst the missus is off to the clothes shops.

Indeed, I had a flick through in my local newsagent last week. Not bad, it explains the rule changes and circuits quite well and introduced the BBC F1 team in a light hearted manner. Stig giving the Mercedes safety car thrash was ace.
Autosport's season review is more in-depth, but you would expect that being a specialist mag - as you say.
