Top 5 Music Bargains

Inspired by the 25-track Kinks Singles collection I've just taken a punt on from iTunes, what's the top 5 music bargains in your collection? The Kinks one is £4.74 on iTunes, at the moment.

The Kinks - Singles Collection

*I like the song on the Sony Ericsson advert, so decided to get a best of to test the water

The Sparks - Mael Intuition 74-76

*20 Tracks, less than £6 on iTunes

The Smiths  - The Very Best of the Smiths.

     *Another under £6 on there

David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars

*I'd liked his popular stuff for a few years before I got this for £3.99
in HMV, but this is where it took hold, albeit about a year later I
bought it when I finally got into it

Nirvana - Best Of

*This was about £7 when CDs weren't so cheap and I was finally
able to get into them a good 10 years after the zeitgeist ended
           with his death.

Honorable mentions, all £5 or less

Interpol - Antics and Our Love To Admire
Lou Reed - Transformer
Thin Lizzy - Johnny the Fox
Kraftwerk - Trans-Europe Express and The Man Machine
The Specials - The Specials Singles

These cheap CD prices, especially those at Zavvi and from the iTMS have allowed me to expand my collection much further than it had been before.

Tanto Nero Tutti Funky - a classic selection of funk, soul, RnB tracks that were heavily sampled by hip-hop artists put together by an Italian label (hence the title) that I got for £3 in Fopp about 15 years ago.

Disco Daze - another £3 CD of disco and funk hits that I got in Tower Records, Glasgow about the same time as the one above.

Unlaced - another cheapie from Fopp (£4) - Dr Martens sponsored early to late 1990s indie compilation that is like the playlist of any indie night of the time: Blur, Pulp, New Order, James, Cracker, MSPs, Radiohead, Charlatans, Primal Scream, Levellers, etc, etc.

I also got Ice-T's Power and Run DMC's Raising Hell for on vinyl for £3 each from Fopp about 15 years ago too.

I've also got loads of vinyl singles from various second hand shops, some of which are quite rare and worth a lot more than I paid (often about 50p each).
