Top 5 Fantasy Garage, with a difference....

....you can only pick cars from one marque.

I'll take Ford, maybe not the most obvious choice but I like a lot of their products.

A white RS200...ok, a red one

A Mk1 Focus RS. On nice mornings I see one being driven into a local industrial estate, It just looks so right.

Got to have a Cosse in there

A racing Puma

And finally. A GT. I love these, it's shows that crazyness still exists at manufacturers.

What would you pick?
Twelfth Monkey

So, I'll be needing a make that does a supercar, a sports saloon, a lightweight sports car, a frugal and commodious estate which can also make long journeys in comfort, and, erm, something else.

I don't consider the Panamera a sports saloon, too big/heavy (as well as an acquired taste - which I wish to forego - visually).  And I'm thinking more Elise/Exige than Cayman for the lightweight.

The most hardcore R8, The Beast and an A6 OffBack Biturbo would be ok, but the lightweight sports car is nowhere to be seen.

BMW doesn't do the lightweight or the supercar, for me at least.

Mercedes fails similarly because the SLS doesn't tick my supercar boxes.

There is no answer, from what I can see.
TreVoR

I would do Porsche.

Boxster S

Cayman S

Panamera Turbo

911 GT3

Cayenne Turbo
Racing Teatray

I'm assuming that in a fantasy garage, such irritations as running costs are moot. Therefore I plump for Mercedes, because I can cope without a lightweight sportscar.

Classic: Silver 300SL Gullwing

For being driven in: Very dark green and immaculate 300SEL 6.3 with discreet updates

For those continental blats: Dark blue AMG SLS (I do like it, lots)

For the family: Dark green C63 AMG Estate

For daily use and sunny days: Dark blue SLK55 AMG (the previous generation)
Racing Teatray

If we can do groups, then the BMW Group:

Classic: BMW 507 Roadster

For being driven in: R-R Ghost

For daily use and those continental blats: Current generation M6 Gran Coupe

For the family: E61 M5 Estate

For sunny days: Alpina RLE (their take on the Z1)

All dark green.
TreVoR

TVR

Griffith 500

Chimaera

Cerbera AJP

Tuscan

T350C
Blarno

I'll go Ford as well:

Mk2 Escort RS1800.

Sierra XR4x4 2.9.

Mk1 Fiesta Supersport.

RS200.

Mk1 RS Focus.
Frank Bullitt

Looking for breadth of range here so...erm...

Audi A1 Quattro for a giggle
Audi A3 1.8TFSI Sport Sportback
Audi A6 3.0TDI Bi Turbo Quattro
Audi R8 V10
Audi TT RS
Chris M Wanted a V-10

Another Ford man here....

I'll keep my Galaxy TDI (presumably restored to as-new condition in the fantasy garage)
Focus mk I RS
Superseded Fiesta 5-door as a town car (facelifted version of younger daughter's car)
Sierra Cossie 4-door
and the GT (40) as an indulgence

You make it so difficult...

I'm gonna go a bit oddball here, and choose Vauxhall.

Fun sports car: VX220 Turbo

Daily hot hatch: Astra VXR

Family car: Zafira VXR

Wagon for carrying stuff: VXR8 Tourer

Classic coupe: Calibra

So there you go. All bases covered.
Racing Teatray

I could do Jaguar too:

Classic: E-Type 4.2 Series 1.5 coupe

For being driven in: Last of the line X358 Daimler Super Eight

For daily use and those continental blats: F-Type V8S Coupe

For the family: XF Sportbrake (pref the R version if they ever get around it)

For sunny days (also classic): SS100

All dark green.
Big Blue

Hmmm.

Difficult to choose only one marque.

Aston Martin

DB4 GT

Lagonda Rapide

Early DBS

DB9

and for the converrtible days:

DB2/4 (what else?)

gonnabuildabuggy

Convertible - Mx5
Fast Sport Saloon - BMW 535
For the family - Honda FRV

Have I got this wrong?
Moto

Lotus for me!!!

Evora S as my daily

A 2-11 260 for trackdays

A Lotus Carlton for the family

And an Exige s1 for polishing/weekend specials.
Bob Sacamano

I might go for Lancia:

Lancia Fulvia:

Lancia Delta Integrale:

Lancia Stratos:

Lancia Aurelia Gran Tourismo:

Lancia Thema 8.32:

Big Blue

I wanted to do Lancia just to have an Aurelia in there. I wanted call our daughter Aurelia but W2.0 said "all these English would pronounce it wrong!" so we ended up with Silvia. Which is a Nissan and not so cool.

I think I could go with that, adding the 456GT for the sake of it.

Good list. Rather better than a garage full of old Fords or Vauxhalls!
