Tiniest of Road Tests: Y61 Nissan Patrol

Saw my brother for the first time this weekend since he got the Patrol. I didn't drive it, just passengered on urban roads around north Manchester. Which, as I am sure franki would agree, are crap. (Not as bad as the Glaswegian roads where the car spends much of its life, however).
Not a lot to say about it other than it is feckin huge. Agricultural. Feels like it really could take on any "road" you show it. It has a certain curious charm, I guess.
I can see the appeal if you genuinely need something like that but, dear Lord, I couldn'tdrive it every day.

The end.

He does. With an Ego letters page like go at showing off what he bought at the hypermarket for his son's 18th. 10 cases of champers? For a lad's 18th?

EDIT: Spell check turned Evo into ego. But it suits.

I tried to find one to go and have a look at before plumping for the much more common X-Trail.  They seem to be pretty rare on the market and hold their money.

I couldn't believe how massive it was. It was amusing watching my 3 year old nephew climb up into his car seat. He almost needs a ladder!!

UAE is biggest market
"This is a service station which I often take our test cars to, and these include Mercs, Bimmers and even an odd Italian supercar. But never before have I had so many of them coming over to me just to say "hello". The difference this time was that I was behind the wheel of a Nissan Patrol."
