This is the Friday joke...I think.

Nice, just not 8k nice.
PR

8k for that is insane! They only cost about 13k new didn't they? And new for that one was 12 years ago. It's got to be worth 2k at a push, surely?
Michael

It's nice but the bodywork needs a damned good polish and the interior is a bit shiny-tastic. I'd have thought 3k?
Blarno

Scene tax. Some Barry will buy that and drop it on the ground, fit stretched tyres and 'amusing' stickers.
Andy C

Nice when not chavved .

I don't think I've seen a standard one for years . Shame

I love that, and in standard unmolested low mileage form I can see that being sold - the dealership is close enough for me to piss on from my office so I might take a look.

Dubbers - they won't touch this, it's all 1.0MPi's and 1.7SDi's.
Blarno

Dubbers will ruin anything...
Matt

Before looking at the link, a Lupo?

Of course. Look brilliant in red. Wouldn't fancy one in another colour, let alone for that much.
PG

can you get RS4 seats to fit?

Where is the dealership? Their stock list is always very interesting.

Actually, it's not the one near work at all - SH are about 3 miles from chez FB and I go within pissing distance of it when commuting in (but I'd have to slow down to hit it), the are by Wyboston - pull onto the old A421 at black cat roundabout, turn right to go over the A421 at the first opportunity and they are just off the main road.
Martin

Did you buy it?

Thanks. Always wondered where they were at Wyboston. Going south of Black Cart not North from what you've said?
Frank Bullitt

Ha ha!

No, but more on purchases shortly of a certain somebody releases their vice like grip on being a tightwad (when it suits)

A nice DS coming your way?

Which reminds me.  I was chatting to our HR BP last week and I had no idea she has a fully restored DS which they drove to France a couple of times last year!  It was sourced and restored by Pallas Auto (assume you know of them?) and is like new apparently.  She absolutely loves it, the only slight downside to it being the lack of aircon.

Her husband used to have an old Land Rover for offroading in which he sold to buy the DS, that's quite an upgrade.

Ever a true word...

Traversing France in a DS, now there's something to plan.

I've seena couple round here, in the supermarket carpark on a night, parked up with their mates.  Seem to be in demand these things and the GTi will not be immune to it.
