It really only has 2 things going for it, a peach of an engine and low weight.

If I wanted both those things (with body panels) I’d be looking at a stripped Elise or MX-5 with Honda power. Which must be possible for £20k.

The more I look at it the more acceptable it gets, especially if it's a track car. There's a comment on the link that mentions the "Strathcarron" and that the makers went bust....I wonder how long this incarnation will last?

As I remember the "Strathcarron" was a better looking car.
