Rolls Royce Cullinan

OMG. This will devalue the brand somewhat...

If they pull it off with understated class it could work very well. Like it or not, RR needs an SUV in the range so here is an opportunity to show everyone else how it is done.

There are scant details in the RREC Bulletin about the next generation Phantom which is due in 2018. Very much looking forward to that.

The wheels on the blue one are nice. Coming to a Golf TDI as soon as the owner has found a set on Gumtree!

Well, really. Outraged isn't a strong enough word. They really ought to have a little more decorum.

Depends on the execution, if it's imperious and superb then probably not, if it's a badly reskinned X7 with a plush interior a la Bentayga then definitely

I detect a hint of sarcasm from BB.
Nice Guy Eddie

Are we saying a Phantom's classy?

Crap name aside I bet it'll be a monster

Got a lot of Range Rover about it, judging by that picture

There is a lot disguise on that and as I've speculated elsewhere I think it will have a very tapered rear end which will probably look a lot more bespoke than the more conventional Bentley. I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with as the profile will be a lot more like the pre-war Rolls Royces.

I only like them from the inside. Externally they look like pimped WW2 anti-tank bunkers on wheels.

You make that sound like a bad thing.

This must be where the designers of the Cullinan are taking their design cues from -

I think the SDkfz 251 will have certain issues on an icy road but the air con has a head start.  Lots of air and it will condition the passenger to cold.  Canvas seats might be a bit too low rent for RR customers though.
