Renault Captur

Holiday hire car. Just typed a load of stuff that the iPad lost. Can't be bothered to type it all again. It's a diesel, auto and is without doubt better than the 'upgrade' of a Corsa with GPS or Yaris with auto box that the Sixt lady offered me at first.

I really like the look of the Captur. They need to be in bold colours with a contrasting roof though. Single colour or dark colours look pants.

How is that possibe? It's a Mac based product. That can't be right? Surely not?

Actually, I can quite see how that happens. I hate having to type on my iPad (work provided not bought by me). I'd rather scratch out my message on a stone tablet than use that awful keyboard.

Re the Captur, I'm seeing mnore and more of them. Renault have really hit the spot with this one. Slightly quirky, effective, desirable.

iPads are infuriatingly shite at losing stuff you've typed. You open a new tab to check a fact, close that tab and the other tab reloads, losing your typing in the process.

Is FF available on an iPad? I have it on my Android devices and it has a lot of annoyances. The long-winded bookmark selection (that drove me back to Chrome in the end) being the biggest one. Whoever designed that needs a kick in the balls!

I am totally the other way up on this. Like it in grey or black, but as soon as anyone tries to put their individuality on it I am not a fan. Some of the black and orange ones with orange wheels and chrome stick on bits are mingy.

I have it on my macbook; not sure about handheld apple devices. Agree on the bookmarks thing if I think about it but I've used it for so long across all devices where possible that i stopped thinking about it

Firefox is not available on iPad, as far as I can see from the appstore. There is Mercury and Opera, or good old Chrome.

Well, at least the spam has elevated the Captur to top of this section for now !
