Rather expensive, wrong gearbox, but ...

Martin

You could order a new one and get a better spec than that for about the same money.
Dr. Hfuhruhurr

That's what I was thinking - or rather, get someone else's scamper spec version for at least 10k less that that

The other GTS on Pistonheads has done 12 miles, has even more options, and is marked at 67k

Frank Bullitt

Lovely bit simply too much for a Boxster
Martin

Sounds like a plan is forming.....

If you let me help with the spec, you'll have a ready made buyer in 2-3 years time if you look after it properly!

Let's start with a manual, full leather, PCM......

That's going to be the tricky one, I think

Not if you order a new one!

Just specced one up nicely and got to 61k.

Excellent - I'll take it off your hands next spring, then

I've spent my car budget for the year......

It's got those seats and steering wheel made out of that imitation squirrel fur. No thanks.

That's why my second option chosen would be full leather.  I know a lot of people like Alcantara, but I'm not one of them.

Squirrel fur!

I sat it the new m4 at the classic, it had carbon fibre trim and an Alcantara wheel . It looked and felt great . Would be my choice

The M4 in my local dealer was the same and while I love alcantara when it's new, it turns into something that looks like it has endured 100,000 miles before it has done a quarter of that.

I used to have to change the alcantara wheel on my race cars every couple of years to keep the grip - they were made worse by the fact that I did my own spannering which lead to less than clean hands touching the wheel at times at events.
Dr. Hfuhruhurr

Alcantara is much nicer on the wheel - no sweaty palms. It doesn't last as long, but worth it.
