tali

I saw a yellow one local to me once.Only later did i realize the Owners Club was just 5mins away from me.But the yellow one was the only one i ever saw.

if you won the Euromillions how could you find time to do anything apart from buy stuff like this?!
Nice Guy Eddie

Constantly amazed at the price of these against Dinos and the like. An early Pantera is a gorgeous thing
tali

They are. The American V8 is what hit's the values.

It would be a struggle!

I'd have 2 - a nice early one and a proper be-winged 1980s one in red or black.

The whole idea of rallying a supercar is so cool it's off the scale. It would be so great if the FIA would sanction a tarmac rally championship for 458s, 650s, Huracans, GT3s, V6 Exiges, GT-Rs, etc.

Indeed. The Pantera is lovely.

I would need a large garage if I won the lottery. All this pish people say about how they would just give the money away as they would not know what to do with it - I would set up some charities and be involved in them daily, and I would also have a very good car collection, focusing on quality. 288GT0 and F40 first two...
Big Blue

Sorry folks, I've kept quiet for this long:

I think the Pantera is a hideous chimera car. The body looks like it landed on the chassis and then bounced up a bit and those wheels: who remembers the Hamlet "Carlos Fandango" advert?

Just my opinion, of course.

...and mine.

There's something deeply unappealing about an Italian built supercar with a piece of Ford Pig-Iron powering it.

FYP.

I love those - Pantera, ISO Grifo, Interceptor (Italian styled, if not built), etc.

Supercar looks with reliability and reasonable running costs.

What's not to like?
Big Blue

I agree on the Grifo, the Interceptor and even the AC 428 - all great looking cars, but the Pantera's main problem is that it looks like a piece of shit!

It's no worse than its contemporaries and has the advantage of being significantly cheaper (Countachs are pushing 250k now and 512BBs are over 100k) than most.
Clunes

It is indeed cheaper - the rally spec one in the auction sold for 46k I think
him

The good and the umm...

Actually from some angles the yellow one looks pretty good, certainly not from the inside though!
