Out and about in Brightlingsea

Last weekend I spent avery windy couple of hours in Brightlingsea (about 15 mins from home) getting to know my camera. 200 or so photos later, I then spent a long time on the laptop cropping, straightening, and experimenting!

Here's some of the results, comments and feedback welcome as usual...

I started at the harbour:

Taken from the pontoon:

I then moved on to the boating lake:

On to the Waterfront as sunset approached:

(enhanced)

I went back to the waterfront after dark as the drilling rigs had been brought into the estuary due to the high winds:

And back to the Harbour, lots of water movement due to the wind:

(with some tints:)

This faces the harbour:

Taken a few nights earlier when the tide was out:

Great pics. I especially like the b&w beach huts and the drilling rigs.

Some great shots there, may favourites are the swan drinking, the 'crabbing/no crabbing' one and the very last of the them - which is a great shot.
PR

Great stuff. I love the 'no crabbing/crabbing' as well.

You'd feel an almost overwhelming obligation to walk sideways ...

Nice shots, BTW ... esp. the B&W beach huts
