I'm 33 and sell Renaults, for my sins!, and have done so for almost 6 years with a couple of short spells in between at MINI and Vauxhall, I hated both.
I have been in the trade for almost 12 years staring off in parts and have also worked for Suzuki Cars and VW.

On the whole Parts guys are wankers, they have no urgency in anything they do and delight in being as difficult as possible asking for info they don't really need etc, and old school parts guys who have done it all their life and are now in their fifties, the ones that wear brown stores coats, are even worse, they have no efficient form of communication, no personality and deliight in being miserable and akward.
However our guys are pretty good.
