The AJ16 3.2 straight six is generally acknowledged to be one of the best engines of its time. My Dad's has done 121,000, still goes like stink and feels like a car with a tiny fraction of the mileage.

Motor Forum rules state that where a car is was offered with two sizes of engine, the larger must be preferred. 4.0L all the way.
