Hope the poor people who were injured make full recoveries

I hope Hamilton's PR people are locking his Twitter account!

Eh?

Sorry to hear of the injuries, but this has nothing to do with Rosberg other than the fact that he was present at the time.

DTM driver Pascal Wehrlein hit the men - who, from the information released so far, shouldn't have been there.

Good point - the two cars are connected by the two footballers but Nico's was not involved.

This was my reaction too.

Plus, of course, he did what the media have come to rely on which is posted a comment on Twatter.

Nice Stilo in those shots. Wonder if I can get some Carabinieri stickers (and a full set of original Fiat wheeltrims as well).

From Planet-F1:
Rosberg was participating at a Mercedes event when another car, driven by touring car driver Pascal Wehrlein, collided with a spectator and a marshal.

According to German daily Bild, the spectator had wondered onto the track and was followed by the marshal. Rosberg slowed his car to avoid hitting the pedestrians, but Wehrlein swerved out of the way to prevent a collision and hit the two people instead.

One of the pedestrians was seriously hurt and was air-lifted to a nearby hospital.

Two members of the German World Cup squad - Julian Draxler and Benedikt Howedes - were passengers in Rosberg and Wehrlein's cars respectively, but were unhurt and trained with the rest of the squad thereafter.

"I am shocked by the accident. My thoughts are with the two people who were injured and I wish them a fast recovery," Rosberg tweeted.
