New Landrover Discovery 4 help

I'm helping a friend buy a new Disco 4, he wants nearly new sub 10k miles but preferably preregistered.

His preference is a Landmark but realistically a graphite edition is more realistic for the 40k ish cash budget. He would like armrests/electric seats if possible and avoid white or black.

I have found a 66 plate 20m Graphite in Coris grey with 5yr service pack for 43k at Farnells in Leeds.

Info between auto trader and the dealers seems to vary. For those working at Landrover is there a way to see all the pre reg cars out there, especially with options fitted, good dealership groups to tap up, he is near bishops stortford so want to keep relatively local.

Pre-reg cars have very low miles - so do an LR approved or Autotrader search on 2016 reg cars with very low mileage. This should bring up all ex demo + any pre-reg in the system.

Autotrader currently have 135 Disco 4s registered in 2016 with less than 100 miles on the clock.

42K/43K for what is basically a new Disco seems quite a good buy to me, if you have mountains to climb or snowy roads.

I thought the Forum's position on Land Rovers was to buy an old one and slowly rebuild it from the ground up over a number of years?

Thanks I have been doing this but find differences between the two and searching for options a pain.

I found a good candidate up in Chesterfield will see if he travels....

Can you add the 5 year service package retrospectively?
