My heart bleedsQuite a while ago (on the old Autocar forums in fact), I posted pictures of fairly new European cars at a scrapyard, lamenting about the shame of such cars being dismantled for parts despite being fairly new.
Now, I just happened to come across the website of said scrapyard, and they have a list of "New Arrivals". These cars are all to be stripped for parts, or exported (to New Zealand perhaps. Pete would do well to take note ).
They all have pictures, but have a look at those labelled with "Accident". They include several Porsches, a couple of Maserati coupes, a Merc SL55 AMG, and one of a Mini where it looks like it's been involved in quite a serious smash up.
It does break my heart a little.

"quite a serious" is not really the adjective phrase I'd have bothered using. Try "fucking huge"

Re: My heart bleeds
I saw one like that on the m6 a month ago, worst smash I've seen. In fact it looked even worse as the roof had been cut off.
Made me want to go out and buy an XC90......
