Mrs J has taken the Bora. I wonder why?

At least it's only bits of metal and plastic and not blood and bones.

Ouch! So what happened?

Looks like some salad dodger sat on the bonnet, can't see any damage other than bonnet/grille at all which is odd, usually the bumper cops for a bit.

Hope everyone is ok.

If I bring the BM to the karting meet can you get her to follow me away?
I need to do something about the rust under the bootlid

Is it just me that thinks that looks more interesting than the 'standard' Golf?

Nah, plastic bumpers these days bounce back, memory retention, it'll have some damage under there though.

As Melanie approached the Gogarburn roundabout a Pikey with pickup and trailer full of motorbikes tried to push in to her lane. She was watching him so intently she never noticed the BMW in front has stopped. She hit the brakes and piled it to the back of him.

It could have been a lot worse as Kyle was in the car but the only thing hurt is Melanie's pride. The gent that she drove into coundn't have been nicer and was more concerned that everybody was ok than a few scratchs on his 09 plate car.

I'm just back from the bodyshop and surprisingly the bumper will live to see another day but bonnet, front panel, pass headlamp and grille are all gubbed.

I have however royaly fucked up. Because I'm in the motortrade I can't drive other peoples car on my insurance policy so I'm a named driver on the Bora but Never bother putting Melanie on the Golf's insurance. I never realised that because she's not covered with my policy the car is only covered third party I.E. I'm having to pay for the repair out of my pocket. It's not too bad as the Air con condenser and radiator are OK. Still It's going to be a few quid.

Tim. It is fairly standard, different bulbs and wheels but bog standard apart from that.......and it's new aerodynamic aids of course. I'll see what I can do about your dodgy rear end at the meet
TimR

Glad they're ok.

I was referring to Melanie's 'improvements' to the shape of course
