Mercedes-Maybach G65 4x4 Landaulet

Blarno

That is quite possibly the most vile thing I have ever seen.
PhilD

Lovely.

I saw recently that Mercedes sell a ridiculous number of G-wagons with each one costing on average about 100k. Must be their most profitable model by a long way.

Considering Trump's ideas on protectionism, it's rather brave for Mercedes to have a crack at the US monster truck market.
Twelfth Monkey

Grim.

What does the "squared" bit mean?

(4x4) x (4x4)? Me neither.

I'm assuming the photo is from the 70s?

4 wheels of which 16 are driven.

It's a leaked photo apparently, so I assume Hans Lehmann found it down the back of his sofa while having a house clearout.
PG

And people worry that the Range Rover is too chavvy these days.
Bob Sacamano

A young Roger Moore in a safari suit would look great driving that.
Michael

I think it more likely's Barbie's Ken.
BeN

I read about a Maybach G-Wagen but I wasn't expecting that!
Dr. Hfuhruhurr

G Wagens should be olive drab and muddy. And with a million miles on the clock, but still as good as new. Blingy ones are utterly horrid.
Roadsterstu

Oh, that's the thing that's been in some Facebook "teaser" shots, is it?

Yuk times by a million.
Big Blue

I think that's on old promo shot from Hart to Hart. Whatever it is "kitsch" is the most polite comment I can muster.

Loads have sprung up in Weybridge recently, varying from the humdrum 350 up to Brabus.
Tim

The Merc garage in Perth had a brand new 3 litre one at 75k about 5 years ago.
It was a drab dark blue and I'm sure had cloth seats.
