Mercedes E-Class All-Terrain

Nice Guy Eddie

Not sure if I like that or not. The E-class is a near fussy design already so slapping a load of shiny plastic probably does it no favours but judging by that pic, I think it looks alright.
Giant

seeing quite a few E Class now, definitely the pick of the Mercedes-Benz saloon range,  but not keen on this, i'd take the Volvo V90 allroad.

Is there really a big enough market in this sector for Audi, Mercedes and Volvo?

I think it looks OK though.

My head hurts

I like the E-klasse but putting a plastic nappy on it has no appeal at all.

It works on a 15k Skoda Roomster but this is the equivalent of Christopher Biggins glasses on a news reader.

Keep it Simple, Stupid.

The XC70 outsold the V70 in the US, they may have even discontinued the V70. The US is the market for this. My aunt lives in Vermont and every other vehicle is Legacy outback, Allroad or XC model. Even here I see more XC70's than V70s.

I'd forgotten about the Audi Allroad and XC70 both of which are very tidy - I guess it's just it doesn't seem like Mercedes USP although they are in every other non-existent niche.

Like the colour though, without the nappy that would look stunning

It'll sell well to families in the snowbelt, US - the ones that haven't completely gone over to a family SUV that is.
Tim

It looks ok but where does it fit in their range with the GLC, etc?
PG

I like that.
Roadrunner

That would suit me very well. Dark green or dark blue, with sunroof, premium sound system and Airmatic.
