At the risk of damning with faint praise, that's not too bad for a current Mercedes, in that it's at least inoffensive.  Still utterly forgettable though, so who knows which is worse?

The side profile looks very A5 Cabrio but it will sell well.

Exactly what I thought.

Not for me, however I'm sure it is a very capable car and no doubt it will sell well.

I like the look of that from those shots. Its just on the right side of being tarty.
BeN

Basically a bigger C-Class Cabrio, but I do like that.

How I like my women.

I agree though it does look like an A5 with a Merc front grafted on.

I like the overall shape - not too many creases or fiddly details in the profile and the rear looks taut and well formed. Fnar fnar.....

That is lovely ... really nice proportions ... somehow the extra length over the C Class just does the job.

As lush as very lush thing, but better suited to the darker colour. A thumbs up from me.

Agree, adds class to an already pretty classy thing. A big Merc convertible would definitely be in my dream garage.

Two observations:

(i) I'm impressed that Merc feels that the world needs a C-class, E-Class and S-Class convertible, all of which look remarkably alike.

(ii) that is one horrendous interior in the photos!!

Indeed. Beige overload and then some. I wonder what % are actually ordered like that? I've noticed in the USA that people are far less into black control surfaces (steering wheel, dash etc). Hence some awful brown interiors I've had on hire cars.
