Mercedes Anyone?

I have just had an email from Marshall Mercedes who have a Cost + £1 sale on for all new cars purchased in November. The back end bonus must be attractive but a wee bit away!

My local BMW dealer sent me the same email.  It was cost + £100 last month, but it's only on in stock cars, which are unlikely to be in a spec I'd want.

It'll be interesting to know if these "cost +XYZ" offers fall foul of advertising regulations; clearly there will be back end and bonus money for hitting targets so if the dealer does hit their target then with the added bonus money at the end of the quarter then surely these deals aren't "cost + XYZ" as they will get x amount of bonus per car sold?

Is it just for you?

I'm planning to go to BMW MK tomorrow so would be interested to see if I can get that deal.

The best thing you can take with you is a Broadspeed quote!
Martin

No, it was just a general email (or could have been a text?)
Nice Guy Eddie

Remember that dealer margin isn't that great and that a coast 2 coast/broadspeed quote will be a lot cheaper as it already takes into account some of the back end money that the dealers willing to put into the deal.

Thanks.

Broadspeed prices for new build look good - https://broadspeed.com/new_cars/B...hoose_Number_Of_Doors/Gran_Coupe/

Have left enquiry on stock cars to see what's about.

So, at what point do these heavily discounted 'premium' products lose their exclusivity?
