M3 30 Jahre

Don't have any links, but I'm sure you're all capable of finding one. Looks like a 3 series with horrible wheels from eBay on it.

I was expecting the worst, but they aren't that bad

Now this is just a lazy way of starting a thread! I've got to tap the screen literally several times now, just to find a picture.
Roadsterstu

Oh God. I see what you mean about the wheels.

I was walking the dogs at the time and walk typing!

Here ya go: http://www.evo.co.uk/bmw/m3/17786...ebrates-30-years-since-the-e30-m3

Eighty three fucking grand! I also assume they shot themselves in the gonads when they renamed the coupe, as they can't have a 30th anniversary M4 to go with it, can they?
Racing Teatray

Well it's not like a standard M4 has nice wheels now is it? And frozen paintwork is about as appealing as a plate of sick.

120k+ for a GTS so this is a bit of a bargain...

Go buy an E30 instead, I reckon

When ever they show a new car with its ancestor/inspiration I always have more desire for the older car.

Apart from a regular M3/4 with the Competition Pack ...

Sign of getting old!
Martin

I like the seatbelt.  As Dr H has pointed out, add the competition pack (and a couple of other things) and you've got something very similar for a lot less, just a shame it will have the same wheels.

I don't think it's an age thing, Giant.  As I get older, my desire for an old / classic car gets lower and lower, although I do appreciate some more I suppose.
