Lotus back in 2010

Great news - fingers crossed they do well and it doesn't end up like Jaguar a couple of years down the line

Hmmm ... let's hope they don't prove to be a disgrace to the Team Lotus name. I'm still to be convinced that these new teams are going to be competitive.

Will Lotus or Manor want a Brit driver for marketing reasons? Wonder if Anthony Davidson's manager is busy.
Big TC

So the new 'Lotus' team will have bases in Norfolk, and......Sepang, Malaysia. That'll be no problem for them, then.

I wish them well - does anyone know which engines they'll use? Cosworth?

And I agree with the other ct - they need to ask directory enquiries for Anthony Davidson or his manager's number.

They could just wander up to the BBC commentary box during final practice to speak to Davidson.
I caught some of it on Saturday morning and he was the co-commentator with David Croft.

....as he is, and has been, on Saturday morning practice at every Grand Prix.

Er, well, er, you see it was like, I've just pressed the red button on a Saturday morning for the first time, like........
DaveGibson

No need to wait until Saturday, he's on on Friday, too.
TimR

All I've seen on Friday so far is the highlights they run of GPs from days gone by.

Obviously since I'm such a party animal with a hectic social life my Friday night viewing opportunities are few
Eff One

All three practice sessions are shown live on the red button and on the website. You can replay them in full on the website, too.

Cosworth engines - good. Those guys do a great job with nothing like the budget of the fickle car manufacturers.

This looks to be more "Lotus" than Lotus, but good luck to them!
