London Classic 2017

Quite simply the greatest, most expensive collection of cars I've ever seen.

Where do you normally see 1 250 GTO, let alone 2?!   The red one still belongs to Nick Mason. He said he will never sell it, and will 'drive it into the grave'.  The Joe Macari guy also said he 'drives the arse off it' at historic race meets. He paid £35,000 for it in 1977. Its worth an estimated £40m now.
The back 250 SWB California behind it was owned by Steve McQueen, James Coburn, and Chris Evans. Evans bought it for £6m, and sold it for £12.2 to fund his own 250 GTO.

Sorry about the order. I spent 45 mins arranging the pictures, only for photobucket to revert them back into the order they were taken. Nice one.   I might try Flickr next time.

There are some beautiful cars there. Although I am not usually drawn to old cars, that red blower Bentley early on is absolutely gorgeous and the Ariel Atom just makes me want to buy one.

Little know fact:
My Citroen Visa was once serviced alongside the 250GTO with the number plate 250 GTO

Great pictures.

288 GTO is possibly the best looking car ever made  to my eyes.  Although what I assume is the next Vantage might topple it - that's wonderful.

Pity Jaaag didn't make the hybrid supercar (CX-75?) - it makes the Holy Trinity look rubbish, aesthetically speaking.  Taut, compact and just lovely.

Yes, the C-X75 is stunning.

Great pics Andy. I'm not much of an old car fan either, but some of hem are stunning.
Nice Guy Eddie

For me out of that lot, its between the 250 SWB and the F40 though that 993 RS and 4.0 are rather spectacular too.

I went along with Andy, one of his mates and Colin. It was a phenomenal display.

Good pics, Andy and the video makes me wish we could have stayed to watch the cars leaving.
