Lens picking for Nikons

Found this page today, courtesy of ebay!!

It only deals with (current) Nikon lenses, and only up to 300mm focal length, but quite handy all the same.

Gives a fair representation of what to expect from different camera/lens combos, and would be helpful for users of any brand of D-SLR I reckon.

That has convinced me that I must get a wide angle lens. The difference in FOV between 10mm and 18mm (my shortest FL) is quite amazing.

I have just got back from Prague and it was impossible to take architectural shots that
a. got the whole building in
b. didn't have a hord of tourists in the way.

Agreed, totally! Just need to start saving the pennies now.......

My widest focal length is 24mm (a very old Sigma 24mm f2.8). Didn't really like or use my old zoom at 17mm.
