Ice!

Took these shots last weekend after a walk in the wilderness of Mid-Argyll. OK, the leaf ones were taken in my back garden!

..

Very nice.

I particularly like them all.
Big TC

Why thankyou, kind sir. (I know you're only trying to make me feel better)
..

I think you know me well enough to know that if I didn't like them I'd either not reply or more likely...say so.

I do like them.

IMHO...I think that the weak one is number 2 and that it could have maybe been better if taken at a low angle and angled much more
although it could probably be improved by closer cropping so that it fills the whole frame or at least most of it.

All good and interesting shots though.
..

Maybe...

I see from the final one that the fish were farting a lot in your back garden Trev.

Alan - thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't made any changes at all before I posted them - the drop idea for number 2 is a definite improvement.

Tim - this ice is not the same ice as on the loch with the strange noise! (It does look like fart bubbles, though, doesn't it!)
Matt

I know we're a forum of spotters but I doubt anyone would have identified those as four-cylinder garden leaves.

Love the third one and last one.
Boxer6

I appreciate them all, frankly, but the last is my favourite.
Big TC

I think, on balance, that the last is my favourite too.
Thanks for your comments

I like the second last one best.

One of our goldfish has died but has been trapped in the ice in the pond for a couple of weeks. We can't get to the poor wee bugger.

It might just be in suspended animation. When he ice thaws, so will l'il fishy?
DarthBalls

Nah it was belly up and floating at the surface. It's now been removed.
