I wish I'd thought of that

What three words maps the world into 3 metre squares and applies each one a three word address so lifetimes.deform.grouping is a three metre square of the parking area where those who go to Prescott tend to gather:

I'm at earth.puppy.plank, apparently.

Who decides what words go with which location anyway? And is there a possibility for businesses/companies to 'buy' location names like these? Say Apple might want something related for their HQ or something.

It has been designed as a way of giving everywhere in the wold an "address" like we have postcodes. As many places - country and cities - in the developing nations don't have popper road layouts, or street addresses, let alone a functioning postal or home delivery service, this systems gives a unique identifier to all places.

So amazon can now deliver to outer Mongolia and so on.

You can't buy names as they're now determined so you get what you're given. The English version uses 40k words but that's partly because that includes the mapping of the oceans. Other language versions are available, too.
I understand that the shorter more common words are prioritised for high population density areas but it's also set so that similar sounding words are not located near each other to avoid mix ups.
Nice Guy Eddie

Region.socialite.arrow

Glaze.every.behave appears to be our offices' front entrance.

I know you can all see where I live and keep my cars but then so can everyone else who drives past.
