Holy crap!

Just had an email. US organisation Motorsport.com has acquired all the Haymarket digital titles: Autosport.com, F1 Racing, LAT Photography etc.

So following the American takeover of FOM motorsport is now all-American. NASCAR F1 coming soon.

But not the print titles?

All of it I do believe.

So that will include Pistonheads too then.

It's only the digital MOTORSPORT titles.

Does anyone know if the former "Autocar Towers" in Teddington was previously the Thames Television studios ?

Wasn't Two Tonne Ted from Teddington?

... and he drove the Baker's Van too, IIRC

EDIT: Wonderful thing, Wikipedia... it's just confirmed that Autocar Towers was indeed the old Thames TV studios

Nothing wrong with that!

I wonder how this will impact Haymarketís agreement with www.racer.com? Both organisations have an agreement to share articles and other content between www.autosport.com and www.racer.com. Why would motorsport.com want to share articles with one of their US competitors?

A few key long-standing Autosport staff went to motorsport.com a while ago, consequently Autosport did lose a little when they left.
